I'm coming back for some pastries. They look so appetizing. I placed my order over the phone in advance and they take payment over the phone for to go orders. You can also order online but will be paying extra on top of menu prices. The cafe is cute inside and the cashier was so friendly. The Cuban sandwich was enormous! Big enough for two meals for sure. It was one of the best and most delicious Cuban sandwiches I've ever eaten.

Excellent service, food and drinks. First time here on a recommendation from friends that live in Colorado. Everyone in the party of 7 Enjoy their meals. The highlight for me was the Steak, next time definitely trying the empanadas. Can't wait to return.

Perhaps it was the warm evening and great company I kept, but this was the epitome of a beautiful Colorado evening, eating Outdoors. We took the light rail downtown, and coupled it with a 15 minute walk to the restaurant. We were greeted quickly and seated Outdoors where we wanted to eat anyway. We both had the cocktail and followed up with our orders in which I have the pork and she had a seafood medley plate. The thing that blew our socks off was the Yucca Fritas. They were awesome....Though everything else was great. The Yucca Fritos stood out as so good we ordered another side dish of them, In fact, we went to the local Mexican market and picked up a yucca to try it at home. It may take a few tries to try and match flavor. Anyway, and overall excellent experience at Cuba Cuba. We will return.

Food and atmosphere so unique to the Denver area that I felt compelled to write a review. Service was fast, informative, and the food came out tasting great. Clean and appealing restaurant.

I am torn with this review, as Cuba Cuba is a great concept. The problem is I am frequent visitor to Cuba and have experienced a variety of dishes. Moreso, being from Southern California Cuban cuisine is not new to me. I do understand why people rave about this place. It is well appointed, service is quick, has a nice vibe and for those interested in Cuba culture, especially through food you can't go wrong. We opted for the ROPA VIEJA DE CASA, The Chicken Breast & CAIPIRINHA cocktail. The dishes are tasty but my issue is the price point is higher than I expected. Cubans are known for their sophistication but there is a reason like many immigrant populations it is more affordable. Of course, if money is no issue for you - this place is as good as it gets. We had a basic dinner and gladly paid $100, yet kept wondering the same dishes typically would be $55-$75, Anyway, it was a nice experience as wherever we travel we seek out Cuban restaurants so this was a good find.

As someone who lived in Miami for 8 years, I was thrilled to have Cuban food walking distance from my house! The food was a great quality and the vibes were perfect. Cuba Cuba is in an old house and so fun. The patio looks awesome on a nice summer afternoon. We enjoyed everything but the mojitos and croquettes were the stars of the show! I wasn't a huge fan of the empanada pastry but the filling was incredible. I would highly recommend Cuba Cuba for anyone in town craving some Cuban and other Latin food!

Just ate there last night for a date night. The vibe is still romantic and fun. It's been around for a while and the quality is still good. The wait time between being seated and being served is a bit long, and the table seated after us got served first, but everyone was friendly and attentive overall. The food was very garlicky, which we love, but wanted to give a heads up to those who are not big garlic fans. I got the vaca frito and he got the paella. Mine came with sautéed onions with the meat, rice and beans, and plantains. The black beans lacked flavor. They needed salt. The beef also lacked a punch, but I ordered it with a side chimichurri which was very flavorful! His paella was over cooked. All the meat in it was dry or rubbery, but the flavor was good. Drinks were lovely.

5/5! I can't believe I've never been here before. The spot is tucked away, near Denver Health off of Speer. And this is a great spot to go for a date or to catch up with friends. There is a huge drink menu ft. mojitos, daiquiris, margaritas, sangria, wine, beer - really anything you could want. They also have a variety of Cuban coffees. If you've never had a Cuban coffee, it is a small cup that will kick in the butt and it is just the best ever! For those that are nonalcoholic, they have lemonade and Cuban sodas. The food was heavenly and the experience was made even better by our extremely personable server. For apps- Don't skip on the plantain chips or the mojo fries. The garlic butter sauce is heavenly! I was with a group of five, and we ordered most of the entrées and shared. Everything was equally delicious! You can't go wrong here. As soon as we left, I was left planning my next visit, and wondering when we could come again!
